Cheryl Diamond, a Houston native, will support Kirksey's firmwide market directors with an initial focus on Science & Technology, Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential practice areas.
Kirksey is proud to welcome Cheryl as the firm's new Director of Business Development, who will oversee client relationships and partnership growth within all major Texas metros.Based in Kirksey's Houston office, Cheryl will partner closely with the firm's Market Directors to build new relationships, strengthen existing ones, and further elevate the Kirksey brand. While she will support all Market Directors, her initial focus will be on Science & Technology, Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential markets.
She will also serve in an overarching leadership role, collaborating with Kirksey's business development teams in Austin and Dallas to drive alignment and shared momentum across the firm.
As a sales and business development leader with extensive market experience, her impressive career history includes establishing and fostering loyal partnerships with key decision makers in both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales environments.
Cheryl comes to Kirksey from a large Houston-based architecture firm where she engaged in project pursuits for the firm's Aviation & Transportation, Office, and Education Studios in the Houston region.

In her new role as Director of Business Development, Cheryl will spearhead strategic lead generation, prospecting, and relationship development efforts to support the firm's growth objectives within the architecture and construction industry. She will serve as a key leader in opportunity identification, pipeline development, and positioning of the firm's expertise to prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders across targeted markets and geographies.
