Kirksey Architecture has been working with the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic for over ten years on a variety of clinical projects including new facilities, remodels and expansions. Most recently we have been commissioned to design eight new buildings in the greater Houston metroplex, tailored to meet the needs of their organization as the nation’s first certified Accountable Care Organization. Seven of these buildings have recently finished construction, in Pasadena, Pearland,, Clearlake, Katy, Shenandoah, Tanglewood & Humble Texas, with design underway for two more campuses.
The current projects include either a two-story, 36,000-sf. Building, a three-story 54,000-sf building, a three-story 80,000-sf building, and a four-story 80,000-sf building based upon the very efficient Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Module which Kirksey developed in conjunction with their Operations and Clinical team members. The clinic module allows for easy horizontal expansion of the building, as well as maximum flexibility between the multiple specialties which are practiced in a coordinated care practice. Each facility houses a diagnostic and imaging suite, laboratory, and retail pharmacy. The building and site is constructed to allow for mobile MRI services.
